President Muhammadu Buhari is set to hold a meeting with All Progressives Congress (APC) senators following Tuesday’s mass defection at both the upper chamber and the House of Representatives.

Fifteen APC senators quit the ruling party on Tuesday, with 35 more following suit at the lower chamber to leave the APC at risk of losing majority control at the two chambers.

Buhari’s meeting with the APC senators will hold this evening at the First Lady Conference Hall, Presidential Villa, Abuja.
