The National Executive Committee (NEC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has dissolved all executive councils of the party from ward to the national levels.
This decision was taken Tuesday, 8 December, 2020 at the ongoing NEC meeting of the party at the Aso Rock Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The ruling party, last month scheduled the meeting, to review the state of the party across boards.
Chairman of the APC Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee and Governor of Yobe State, Mai Mala Buni, led members of the party’s NEC to the meeting.
President Muhammadu Buhari, Senate President, Ahmad Lawan and House Speaker, Femi Gbajabiamila were all in attendance.
