Six aspirants have announced their decision to withdraw from the presidential race of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

They made the declaration at the ongoing special national convention holding at the Eagles Square, Abuja.

They are former governor of Akwa Ibom State, Goodswill Akpabio; former Governor of Ogun State, Ibikunle Amosun, Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State and Former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Dimeji Bankole; Governor Badaru of Jigawa State and Senator Ajayi Borroffice

They all called on the delegates from their states to vote for Tinubu, saying he is the most qualified to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari in 2023.
