The aged mother, a flourishing trader and producer of quality African tie and dye fabrics popularly known as Adire (Abeokuta’s trademark good) is survived by her only son (Bakare), grandchildren and many relatives.

Mama Bakare was reputed to have had a profound influence on the life of the famous televangelist as documented in numerous anecdotes, tributes and testaments of Bakare in the past three decades of ministring the word on the pulpit as well as through television broadcasts.
