10 out of the yet-to-be-known number of students carted away from Government Science College (GSC) located in Kagara, Niger state have reportedly regained their freedom.

The school was said to be having a student population of about 1,000.

Security operatives are currently on the trail of the abductors, attempting to foil the students’ abduction.

The New Diplomat earlier reported the students were kidnapped by suspected bandits during an early morning raid on the school Wednesday.

The Niger State government is expected to address a press conference to speak on the mass abduction any time soon.
