During court hearing on Friday, the Chief Magistrate, Adeola Olatunbosun, remanded Vandi in prison.

The suspect will remain at the Ikoyi Correctional Centre, Lagos State till January 30, 2023.

It would be recalled that Bolanle was coming from an eatery with some family members on Christmas Day and had tried to make a U-turn under the Ajah Bridge when the policeman shot at her vehicle.

The bullet hit the 41-year-old as she was rushed to a hospital, where she was confirmed dead.

The slain lawyer, who had a child, was seven-month pregnant when the tragedy struck amid festivities.
