Usman Alkili Baba who thanked the governor for the visit, assured Nigerians that the case would be treated with all the seriousness it deserves, adding that the police would not attempt a cover up in it’s investigation and subsequent prosecution of the culprit.

The IGP disclosed that investigations already marked ASP Drambri Vandi as the suspected killer of the female lawyer, adding that alleged killer could not account for the guns and bullets in his custody.
Similarly, human rights lawyer, Ebun-Olu Adegboruwa has promised to seek #5billion (five billion Naira) monetary compensation for the the deceased family.
