One of the national leaders of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has jetted out of Nigeria.

According to reports, the APC chieftain travelled to United Kingdom.

Though the reason for the travel remains sketchy as of press time, sources who spoke with the members of the press said the two-time governor of Lagos state travelled overseas to rest and strategise on his 2023 presidential ambition.

Many had reported that Tinubu travelled abroad for medical check-up. It was reported that he went abroad to undergo a routine check-up on his knee which was operated last year.

Meanwhile, the development comes days after Tinubu declared his ambition to contest for the 2023 presidential election.
