A former housemate of the just concluded Big Brother Naija season 6 edition, Niyi has said he remains strong mentally despite social media trolls directed at him after his eviction from the show.
Niyi, who was the second housemate to be evicted from this last edition of the show, while speaking on Arise TV on Monday said his mental health after the show is “strong, fine, great and pushing forward, as he has been used to social media backlash due to his marital life.”
Also, Niyi stressed that one of his shocking moments was exiting the show early, as he didn’t expect to leave the show that soon.
In his words:”My mental health is strong, great and pushing forward.
“The good thing about it is that before I went for the show I had this small fame as a result of marrying a white-woman, so I’m used to social media backlash and trolls.
“I realize that when people troll you they just want you to break down, but I try to relax and move to the positive change.
“Every show and everybody are open for good criticism as I’m also shocked people think their opinion about you during the show is what should count. I’m surprised and I wonder why people really think this way.”
“However I believe that there are changes that will come into the show as it progresses, so the show is open to changes,” he added.
