A video of Laycon having a conversation with other finalists of the Big Brother Nigeria Lockdown Season housemates, Nengi, Dorathy, Vee, and Neo about his genotype has sparked reactions from Nigerians on social media.
The musician-housemate revealed earier today that he is SC.
According to a medical journal, some people with this genotype develop Hb SC disease, a variant of sickle cell disease. Thankfully, Laycon stated that he hardly falls sick.

Many Nigerians have expressed surprise that despite having all the things he could have used to gain sympathy votes, he decided to use his talent instead.
Obviously this report sparked reactions from viewers of the reality TV show as they promptly reacted to Laycon’s revelation about his genotype on Twitter as it generated mixed comments.
Fans however recalled how disqualified housemate Erica who used to be Laycon’s close friend in the house body-shamed him during her angry outburst at the musician-housemate.
And as expected, others, while noting how strong Laycon is, slammed Erica for looking down on him.
Erica’s fans, however, reacted to the posts about the disqualified housemate and fired back at those praising Laycon.
