A former Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governorship candidate for Gombe State in the 2023 general election, Muhammad Jibrin Barde said his resolve to rescue his state from what he described as “the grip of a failed self-centred All Progressives Congress (APC) leadership administration of Governor Inuwa Yayaha remains unshaken.”

Barde made this statement during his visit to the PDP presidential flagbearer in the 2023 Presidential election and Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.

According to Barde: “I honoured the invitation of our 2023 presidential candidate, HE Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, GCON, Wazirin Adamawa.”

A statement released by the #Rescue Gombe and #Rescue Nigeria office of Barde said both two Atiku Abubakar and Muhammad Barde held frank, urgent talks “about the unbearable suffering Nigerians are facing under the failed APC administration — and the critical need to unite the opposition to end this national nightmare.”
