Barcelona Coach, Ronald Koeman, has been sacked after 1-0 shocking defeat by Rayo Vallecano on Wednesday night.
Barcelona, in a statement released on the Club’s official website read: “FC Barcelona has relieved Ronald Koeman as coach of the first team.
“The president of the club, Joan Laporta, has informed him after the defeat against Rayo Vallecano. Ronald Koeman will say goodbye to the squad this Thursday at the Ciudad Deportiva.
“The FC Barcelona wants to thank him for his services and wishes him good luck in his career.”
Barca has lost fifth consecutive Clasico for the first time since 1965 and stay ninth position in the Laliga and six points behind Madrid, who surge back to the top of the table.
