The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC has declared the incumbent Governor of Bauch State Bala Mohammed re-elected.

The INEC Returning Officer in the Election, Professor Abdulkarim Sabo Mohammed, said the incumbent and the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) candidate polled a total of 525,280 votes to defeat his rivals in a well contested election.

Bala Mohammed will be serving a second term following his victory one more time.
