A UK based Non Governmental Organization (NGO); Book Aid For Africa (BAFA) UK has appointed Sonny Iroche as a member of its Board of Trustees at a recent Annual General Meeting held in the UK earlier this year.

Iroche brings to the BOT a vast experience in banking and finance. He is currently the Chairman of Strategic Alliance Promotion Company, a private investment promotion company. He also sits on a number of boards, including United Capital Plc, a publicly quoted company on the Nigerian Stock Exchange and a member of the Governing Council of Premiere Academy Abuja. He was until recently an Executive Director of Finance & Accounts of the Electricity Transmission Company of Nigeria

BAFA, a registered NGO with the Charity Commission for England and Wales, donates books and library equipment to Secondary Schools and Universities throughout Africa. BAFA has donated books to many educational institutions in the North East of England and a number of African countries such as Mozambique, Angola, Nigeria and Sierra Leone.
The BAFA collaborates and gets support from private and public sector institutions and is registered at the Charity Commission for England and Wales
