Movements along the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja, Lagos, on Monday, were grounded.

Several air passengers were forced to ride commercial bikes to the airport in order to make their flight, following protest by the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS).

NANS on Monday joined the Academic Staff Union of Universities, (ASUU) to protest the lingering strike over the Federal Government’s refusal to honour its part of the agreement.

This development is coming after series of meetings between ASUU and FG proved abortive.
