The senator representing Bauchi south, Alhaji Ali Wakili on Sunday distributed 1,800 bags of fertilizer to the chieftains of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and his campaign coordinators who played vital roles towards his victory in the last 2015 election.
Presenting the donation in his Bauchi residence , Wakili who is also the Chairman senate committee on poverty alleviation, noted that all senators in the country were given some amount of money to carry out projects in their various constituencies this year, adding that he chose to donate the fertilizer in order to boost farming in the senatorial zone that would concomitantly revitalize the economy of the state.

He said apart from the party leaders and his campaign coordinators, all aspirants who contested for and lost different seats in the seven local government areas of his constituency during the past polls had also benefited from the gesture.
