With the stay of execution order of the Court of Appeal on Monday which unequivocally  reinstated Comrade Adams Oshiomole as the national chairman of the All Progressives Congress(APC),  a National Working Committee (NWC) meeting of the party has been scheduled to take place tomorrow, Tuesday.

The meeting scheduled for Tuesday, March 17, 2020 will hold at the Party’s National Secretariat by 12 noon. In statement signed by APC’s national publicity Secretary, Mallam  Lanre Issa-Onilu, the APC urged all members of the party’s NWC to attend the important meeting as very strategic matters  of interest and concern to the APC would be deliberated upon.

Recall that the Court of Appeal had on Monday stayed, and voided an execution order of an Abuja High Court restraining  the APC national chairman, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole from further acting or functioning in that capacity.

This development is coming on the heels of  an indefinite suspension of a  scheduled National Executive Committee(NEC) meeting of the APC earlier designated to hold tomorrow..

The suspension of the NEC was one of the key agreements reached during the meeting between President Muhammadu Buhari and governors elected on the platform of the APC, known as the Progressive Governors’Forum (PGF) which took place  at the State House earlier today.

While briefing State House Correspondents on the outcome of the meeting and the decision to suspend the meeting,  Kebbi State governor who also serves as  the Chairman of the PGF, Alhaji Atiku Bagudu, said the body arrived at the decision during its meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari .
