The National Assembly,(NASS) has recently postponed its resumption date to Tuesday, February 9, 2020.

The Clerk of the National Assembly, Arc. Ojo Amos who disclosed the new date said it is to enable lawmakers who belong to the All Progressives Congress (APC) in both the House of Representatives and the Senate partake in the party’s membership registration exercise scheduled for January 25, 2021.APC Membership Registration: NASS Postpones Resumption To February 9

The party, through John Akpanudoedehe, Secretary of APC Caretaker and Extra-ordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC) had earlier announced January 25th as the party’s chosen date membership registration across the country.

“Having got the approval for the party membership registration, CECPC is now set to undertake the exercise efficiently and effectively in a record time, beginning from Jan. 25″ Akpanudoede said.

The Lawmakers from both Chambers had on December 21st, 2020 adjourned plenary till January 26, 2021, to enable members to observe the Christmas and New Year festivities.
