Amid widespread speculations that leadership positions in the emerging 10th National Assembly have been zoned, the ruling All Progressives Congres, APC has disassociated itself from the report.

The APC in release by its National Publicity Secretary, Barr. Felix Morka stated categorically that the party is yet to arrive at any zoning arrangement of leadership positions of the 10th National Assembly.

The release reads: “the attention of the All Progressives Congres (APC) has been drawn to versions of zoning arrangements for the 10th National Assembly leadership positions in circulation in sections of the social media.

“The information did not emanate from the party, and should be disregarded,” the release stated.

Morka assured that decisions made in that regard by the APC, would be duly communicated via the Party’s official information channels.

It would recalled that the social media platforms have been awash with series that the APC leadership has zoned the Senate President to the South South and Speaker of the House of Representatives to the North West.
