The ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, National Chair mm an Abdullahi Ganduje has stated that his party lost the presidential election in Lagos and Katsina while contesting the notion that APC manipulated the results of the election. He spoke in a video shared by Channels Television.

Expressing satisfaction with how the Appeal Court addressed allegations of malpractice in the presidential election, Ganduje stressed the importance of the live coverage to ensure transparency and counter misinformation on social media.

Ganduje who was addressing the press after the presidential election tribunal delivered its judgment said “On the issue of malpractices in the election, you could see how the judges were able to treat it and dispensed everything.

“We are happy that the program was done live so that Nigerians would definitely know what has happened instead of relying on social media where some political parties are inciting people.

“If APC manipulated the results, how can we lose the presidential election in Katsina State which was the state of the sitting president at that time, and how can we lose the presidential election in Lagos where we have our own presidential candidate?”
