The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced the top scorers of the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), with Okeke Chinedu Christian from Anambra State leading the pack with an impressive score of 375 out of 400.

The announcement was made on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, during the JAMB 2025 Policy Meeting in Abuja, the federal Capital Territory.

JAMB Registrar, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, revealed the names of the highest-performing candidates.

Following Okeke Chinedu Christian, who aims to study Mechanical Engineering at the University of Lagos (UNILAG), is Ayuba Simon-Peter John from Gombe State, who scored 374 and tipped Afe Babalola University (ABUAD) for the same course.

Similarly, Jimoh Abdulmalik Olayinka from Kwara State secured third place with a score of 373, also choosing UNILAG for Mechanical Engineering.

Other notable performers include Ayibo Roberts (Rivers), Chibueze Omonugbo (Enugu), Tunmise Olawepo (Kwara), Leslie Afinotan (Delta), Azoyenime Samuel (Delta), and Oyebode Oluwapelumi, all scoring 373.
