Frontline international journalist-diplomat and former Nigerian Ambassador to Thailand, Ambassador Oma Djebah, has congratulated the Delta State APC Chairman, Elder Omeni Sobotie on the occasion of his birth day celebration.

In his goodwill message to the celebrant, Amb. Djebah, a former two-time Delta State Honourable Commissioner for Information, described Elder Sobotie as “a dynamic, astute and committed leader whose political experience, and steadfastness continue to impact the progressive family across Delta State in various ways.”

The eminent journalist-diplomat and notable stalwart of the All Progressives Congress (APC), underscored the chairman’s tireless efforts in grassroots mobilization and unwavering commitment to the ideals of the party, adding that his astute leadership style has enhanced the party in the state.

He noted that Elder Sobotie’s Party leadership and service to Delta State have been very impactful over the years, describing him as a focused, astute and compassionate leader whose service to Delta State in broader terms, has been quite immense over the years.

“ I recall in 2007, when I just arrived in Asaba to assume office as the Honourable Commissioner for Information, and one of the few persons, myself and my colleague, Chief Bernard Okumagba, who also just assumed office as Honourable Commissioner for Economic Planning, visited in his office, was Elder Omeni Sobotie, who was the Political Adviser to the Governor of Delta State at that time. His counsel was very helpful. He is a committed and experienced party leader. I wish him many more years in good health and happiness “, Djebah added.

Ambassador Djebah who expressed gratitude to God for the chairman’s wellbeing even as he prayed for more strength and wisdom, for him to continue in good health and renewed strength.

“As you celebrate this special day, I join your family, political associates, and admirers in thanking God for your life of impact and sacrifice, It is my prayer that God continue to grant you good health, divine wisdom, and renewed strength to continue your noble service to our party and the people of Delta State. Happy birthday celebration, dear Chairman”, Djebah concluded.
