The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), the City of David, in Victoria Island, Lagos State has announced the launch of a dating website.
The pastor of the parish, Idowu Iiluyomade, explained that the site is aimed at connecting people for courtship and marriage, in line with Christian practices.
The pastor, in a viral video, said there is no marriage in heaven, adding that people are meant to connect with each other.
A visit to the website named “connectnow.com.ng”, shows that it is a Christian singles platform where men and women meet to prepare for courtship and marriage.
Intending participants must register and have their details processed before approval. Participants are not expected to pay any fee to access the platform.
Meanwhile, Nigerians have continued to express their astonishment over the development. While many wonder why the church of God created a dating site, others continue to rush to the site in search of future partners.
