The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Benajmin Hundeyin, confirmed the release of the singer to the members of the press.
Hundeyin said Portable was released on Wednesday after he met his bail conditions.
When asked if Portable had sorted out the issues, the spokesman added, “I have no idea about it but what I can say is that he has been granted bail.”
Portable was apprehended by the police on Tuesday over his alleged refusal to complete payment for his luxury G-Wagon car.
Portable was accused of not completing the payment of a Mercedes Benz GLE 350 he purchased from a car dealer, Ogunsanwo Temitope (Temmy Autos).
Portable was said to have paid only N13 million out of the N27 million cost of the automobile and allegedly refused to pay the N14 million balance.
