As the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC continue to put finishing touches to the Presidential and National Assembly Elections, the Federal Capital Territory, FCT Labour Party, LP Chairman, Diugiou Chukwuemeka has alerted Nigerians on alleged plot by political gladiators working assiduously to upturned the election results.

The FCT LP Chairman who made this allegations, noted that since his party member emerged winner of the National Assembly Election in Abuja, some politicians who felt slighted are currently working with INEC to upturn the election results.

Chukwuemeka who stated that despite the fact that INEC has issued a certificate of return to the winner, these desperate politicians would stop at nothing to have their way.

The LP Chairman who fingered members of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP and All Progressives Congress, APC members as hatching the plot, warned INEC that any attempt to yield to pressure from these die hard politicians and reverse the results, the LP would resist such nefarious act that is capable of derailing our democratic ethos.

He called on those concerned to embrace true democracy, adding that it’s only by so doing that Nigeria can thrive as a nation.
