The Alaafin of Oyo, Oba (Dr.) Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi 111, has rolled out drums and pageantry for his 51st coronation anniversary today, 15th of January 2022.

According to the Instagram page@alaafin_oyo, the monarch hosted the three religious faith in Oyo, The Asa Orisa, The Christians and The Muslims.

One of the major highlights from the event was the beautiful traditional dance from the Alaafin of Oyo himself.

He is married to Ayaba Abibat Adeyemi, his senior wife. He attends most events with her or with one of the twelve junior wives that he’s also married to.
