According to the release Antai had to be removed from the state executive council following his reluctance to comply with good governance processes of government.

Antai has been mandated to handover to the permanent secretary in the ministry before close of work on Wednesday 8th august; 2018.

The former commissioner was spotted at the airport earlier on Tuesday as part of the delegation that received Senator Godswill Akpabio, the immediate former governor of the state and former senate minority leader who is moving over from the PDP to the APC.
