The acting National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Yemi Akinwonmi, is currently presiding over the meeting of the party caucus holding at the party’s national secretariat in Abuja.

This is coming despite the ruling of Kebbi State High Court, which reinstated Prince Uche Secondus as the National Chairman of the PDP.

Meanwhile, as of press time, Secondus was not present at the ongoing meeting.

Akinwonmi, in his address, acknowledged that he was been served a copy of the court’s ruling this morning.

Akinwonmi said, “I came here this morning and a letter was served on me. Coincidentally, I met the chairman of the BoT and told him and he told me he received a copy of the same letter.

“I want us to discuss this letter before this meeting starts.”
