With the successful completion of its primary election across Nigeria, the All Progressives Congress, APC, has forwarded names of successful candidates In the just-concluded governorship primaries held in Imo, Kogi and Bayelsa States to the Independent National Electoral Commission, (INEC), ahead of the 2023 Gubernatorial elections.

APC in a statement dated the 17th, April 2023, by the Deputy National Chairman (North), Senator Abubakar Kyari and addressed to the Chairman of the Commission, stated:”we write to forward the under-listed list of our party’s candidate to your Commision for the 2023 off-season gubernatorial elections.

“The names are as follows;
(1) His Excellency, Chief Sylva Timipre — Bayelsa State.
(2) His Excellency, Hope Uzodimma — Imo State.
(3) Ahmed Usaman Ododo — Kogi State.

“above is for your information and necessary actions, please.”

The letter sighted by The New Diplomat revealed that it was acknowledged by the office of the Chairman with a recieved stamp dashed on the document.
