In spite of Nigeria’s current economic woes, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has predicted the revival of the naira which he said will soon become greater than the United States dollar.

Following the recent monetary policy changes of President Bola Tinubu’s administration which ended the parallel market, the official value of the naira has fallen drastically as it now sells for about N918 to the dollar.

Moreover, with the removal of fuel subsidy and the attendant rising cost of living, Nigerians have been facing one of their worst financial crisis in recent times which is not helped by rising inflation.

The prediction by pastor Adeboye about the nation’s economic revival therefore came as a pleasant surprise to congregants at the Redeemed church’s monthly thanksgiving service on Sunday, with the theme; ‘Uncommon Miracles’.

According to Pastor Adeboye there was a period when Naira, competed favourably with the United States dollars and that period will be returning soon.

“The days when Naira will be stronger will come back; those glorious days will return when that happens you will know,” he said.
Mr. Adeboye noted that like all miracles, which are usually unique, his predictions will come to many as a shock because when miracles occur they are usually not comprehensible to most people.

He explained how in times past God granted him unusual testimonies, some of which many people couldn’t believe.
“Miracle is totally unusual. God can give you a miracle that will be difficult to share,” Mr. Adeboye added.
