The death of Prince Abubakaru Audu, Governorship candidate at Kogi 2015 gubernatorial election has left the judiciary indecisive as matters like this is termed ‘precedence’.
On the 21st November 2015, the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC conducted Gubernatorial Election in Kogi State. APC scored 240,867 votes, whilst PDP came second with 199,514 votes, making a difference of 41,353 votes. The death came of the winning candidate came fort after the election was declared inconclusive.
