The apex leadership of the Igbimo Apapo Yoruba Lagbaye (Yoruba Council Worldwide) has joined millions of well-wishers in Nigeria and around the world to felicitate with Ooni of Ife, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja 11, and Olori Oba Silekunola Ogunwusi on the arrival of new prince — Adesoji Aderemi Ogunwusi into the House of Oduduwa.

Named after Oba Ogunwusi’s predecessor, late Ooni of Ife, Sir Tadenikawo Adesoji Aderemi, the new prince was formally named, Wednesday, after three-week cultural rites, traditionally observed at the Ile Oodua Palace of the Ooni of Ife, where new born princes and princesses are being cleped.

“We appreciate the new born Prince was referenced to bear ‘Prince Adesoji Aderemi Ogunwusi’ in honour of the late former Ooni of Ife, Oba Adesoji Aderemi as assured and confirmed today 25th November, 2020 during the traditional rites naming ceremony by Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi in honour of the late Ooni Aderemi Adesoji’s 40th Years Anniversary.

“We see the arrival of the new born heir apparent to the throne of Oduduwa as a symbol of God’s glory: heralding peace and development of the Yoruba nation.

“This joy is expected to transcends to all Nigerians and the entire global community as we all rejoice with the Giesi Royal Family of Ooni Ogunwusi 11 royal dynasty,” the Yoruba Council Worldwide said.
