BBNaija 2020 Ex-housemate, Rebecca Nengi Hampson has been appointed as a Special Assistant to the governor of Bayelsa State, Duoye Diri.
Nengi was also designated as a face of the state by the state governor, Diri.
The reality TV star recently made news on Twitter shortly after she was hosted by officials of the Bayelsa government on Friday, November 6.

Governor Diri who announced the appointment of Nengi as a Special Assistant on Friday after she paid an official visit to him in his office said the state is proud of her accomplishments.
A video showing Governor Diri making a speech as other officials gathered together with Nengi in attendance surfaced online.
The video was retrieved from the Instagram live chat of the BBNaija star.
Another video showed the moment the reality star was being welcomed by her fans and followers to the state. A crowd was spotted around Nengi’s car as they shouted her name in excitement.
The 22-year-old ex-housemate and ex-beauty queen hails from Bayelsa State, a State in the South-South geo-political zone of Nigeria.

It was in Bayelsa state that Nengi completed both her primary and secondary school education, and obtained her First School Leaving Certificate and West African Senior School Certificate, respectively.
