The former Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi Lamido and his wife Sadiya Ayo Bayero recently marked their 35th wedding anniversary in London.
According to reports, Sanusi Lamido married his beautiful wife some 35 years ago.

Many people don’t stay this long with their spouses due to a number of issues including personal issues. However, for Emir Sanusi Lamido, he has spent 35 years together with his beautiful wife.
Sanusi is a member of the Dabo royal family of Kano. He was the 14th Emir of Kano from the Fulani Sullubawa clan. He ascended the throne on 8 June 2014, following the death of his grand uncle, Ado Bayero. He was dethroned on 9 March 2020 by Governor Abdullahi Ganduje.
