Hoodlums are currently on rampage in Kuje area of Abuja as they embark on a rigorous search for warehouses likely to be stocked with Covid-19 palliatives.

This has made residents of the area council to be on the run, with traders locking their shops and moving out of the market to forestall a major escalation.

Security operatives have been deployed to calm the situation in affected communities.

Also, The New Diplomat gathered that the National Youth Service Corps NYSC Orientation Camp in the Kubwa area of Abuja was also invaded by hoodlums as soldiers are currently firing gunshots to protect the facility.

Hoodlums were reported to have carted away mattresses and other essential materials put in place for corp members’ use at the camp.
