There was a mild drama at Gbogi/Isikan 1, PU 10, at Scared Heart Primary School in Akure South polling unit as INEC card reader failed to recognise People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Governorship candidate, Mr Eyitayo Jegede’s fingerprints.

The couple waited for five minutes for the INEC staff to rectify the fault on the card reader.

Meanwhile, they waited on the queue for about three hours before finally being able cast their ballots

It was the first time the machine has recorded the failure since voting started.

After some minutes, however, Jegede and his wife, Eno later cast their votes after it was rectified.

Their daughter also voted at the polling unit.
