Popular disk jockey and singer, DJ Cuppy, has joined other Nigerians including several other celebrities to speak out against the abuse of power by the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS).
In a recent tweet shared on her verfied Twitter account, the Original Copy crooner asked Nigerians to forgive her for not speaking out concerning the police brutality many citizens have suffered.
The billionaire’s daughter who revealed she was going against the advice of people around her noted that even though she was not affected by this, her fans were and that was enough reason for her to speak out.

In her words: “Going against the advice of those around me, but it doesn’t feel right. Silence can say so much. My fellow Nigerians, forgive me for taking so long to comment.”

Most Nigerians angrily reacted to her post with some stating that it shows she is less concerned.
Unlike DJ Cuppy Other Nigerian celebrities, Falz, Runtown, Mr Macaronii have joined the movement to protest and canvass for the outright scrapping of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad of the Nigeria Police Force known as ENDSARS protest.
