As Nigeria celebrates her 60th Independence anniversary, about 200 #RevolutionNow protesters stormed the streets of Lagos and expressing their displeasure with bad governance and leadership in the country.
It was gathered that Police have arrested some of the protesters.
The number of those arrested could not be ascertained at the time of filing this report but according to a report, they were said to be not less than 30 of the #RevolutionNow protesters were arrested.

The protesters marched from the streets of Ojota to Maryland in Lagos, singing solidarity songs.
#RevolutionNow protests was initiated last year by Mr Omoyele Sowore, a former presidential candidate in the 2019 general election.
Sowore was arrested last year August on charges of treason.
It was learnt that #RebolutionNow protests are also taking place in some states across the country.
The Coalition for Revolution codenamed #RevolutionNow had released a statement calling Nigerians to come out and participate in a peaceful protest on Oct 1 to demand the reversal of anti-people policies implemented by the President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration.
