Kaisha Umaru is the latest housemate to be evicted from the ongoing Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) reality TV show, howbeit in a controversial fashion, according to fans’ reactions.

Her stay in the ‘Lockdown’ house came to an end on Sunday after she was named among the four housemates with the lowest votes during the course of the week’s voting by fans.

Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, the show’s host, had listed her alongside Timmy ‘Tricky Tee’ Sinclair, Florence ‘Wathoni’ Anyansi and Emuobonuvie ‘Neo’ Akpofure as housemates up for possible eviction for the week.

The remaining 12 housemates were then invited into the diary room to nominate one of the bottom 4 for eviction.

Kaisha didn’t get the needed support from the housemates despite garnering more fans’ votes than the other three that were up for eviction along with her.

However, the night’s eviction sparked controversy on whether housemates should call the final shots after fans must have voted for favourites, something that led to Kaisha’s eviction.

Ka3na and Lilo became the first set to be evicted from the house followed by Tochi and Eric.

The remaining 15 housemates will continue the chase for the N85 million grand million prize.

This year’s BBNaija has so far lived up to expectations when it comes to controversies and the usual social media frenzy.

This is despite the early fears that greeted the airing of the reality TV show as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.

What?!!!! Kaisha got more votes than Neo and wathoni and she still left before them. Now that’s fucked! @TifeBollz

Big brother is not giving fans power to vote anymore!!! Our votes doesn’t count
Kaisha wasn’t supposed to go anywhere!!! Neo and wathoni had the lowest vote.@jim_wea.

Rule is lowest four are up for possible eviction and house mates get to decide who leaves from there… Lowest four is lowest four by the rule.@Diepriye290

That’s one stupid system they are using, why should we waste our money for the house mates to choose who they want to  leave.@nashie0007

Makes no sense at all…..when they want to control all outcomes, they will find a clause. Scam las las.mz_starickque.

All I’m saying is its not fair e system  they are using  this year, why I say so, they say the power is in our hands then las las they scam us by letting e other housemates to have the power to votes and they wont bring drama coz they will be scared housemates will vote em out.@nashie0007

Fans should stop wasting time.and resources, let the house mates take over.@oluwafemikekule.
