President Muhammadu Buhari is currently holding a meeting with the All Progressives Congress, (APC), governorship candidate in Edo State, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

Ize-Iyamu arrived the Villa alongside the Caretaker Committee of the ruling party and Governor of Yobe State, Mai Malla Buni, Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje and Kebbi state Governor, Atiku Bagudu.Ize-Iyamu Buni, apc

The APC Interim Chairman, Buni, it was gathered led Ize-Iyamu to the Villa to officially get the endorsement of President Buhari and seek his participation in the party’s governorship campaign in Edo.

The Edo election has been scheduled for September 19. Both APC candidate, Ize-Iyamu and Governor Godwin Obaseki of the PDP have been campaigning heavily across the state.
