Nigeria has recorded 454 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the total infections in the country to 27,564.

The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) disclosed this in a tweet on Friday via the agency’s verified Twitter handle.

Lagos recorded 87 new cases while Edo in second place had 63 infections with the FCT in third place with 60 new cases.

Ondo, Benue, Abia, Ogun, and Oyo had 41, 32, 31, 29, and 19 cases respectively.

Kaduna, Delta, Enugu, Borno, and Plateau recorded 17, 16, 15, 14 and 9 cases.

Nasarawa, Kano, Bauchi, Gombe had 8, 5, 4, 2 cases while the duo of Katsina and Kogi had 1 case each.

11,069 patients have been discharged while 628 deaths have been recorded.
