No fewer than 6 executive members of the Ekiti State chapter of the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) died in a road accident.

Secretary of the Lagos State Medical Guild, Dr. Sunday Luro confirmed to The New Diplomat Sunday night.

Dr Luro said, “six doctors who delegates of Ekiti State Branch of the NMA to our Annual Delegates Meeting and General Conference in Sokoto are involved in a road crash between Abuja and Kaduna today (Sunday). This is a huge loss to NMA. May their souls rest in peace!”

He said the names of the victims will be released after due confirmation.
