The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), on Monday night announced 245 new cases of the novel coronavirus (Covid-19), bringing the country’s total infections to 2,802.

According to the NCDC in a tweet via its official handle, 76 cases were recorded in Lagos, Katsina 37, Jigawa 32, Kano 23, FCT 19, Borno 18, Edo 10, Bauchi 9, Adamawa 6, Oyo 5, Ogun 5, Ekiti 1, Osun 1, Benue 1, Niger 1, Zamfara 1.

The country’s total deaths from the virus now stand at 93 while 417 have recovered.
