Brazilian legend Kaka has picked Barcelona and Argentina skipper Lionel Messi as a better player compared to his former Real Madrid teammate Cristiano Ronaldo.
Kaka’s submission is the latest in the never-ending debate on who is the better player between both stars.
The 2007 FIFA World Player of the Year, joined Real Madrid in 2009, the same year Ronaldo left Manchester United For the Spanish giants.

During his time at Madrid with Ronaldo, Kaka won the Laliga and Copa del Rey under Jose Mourinho. But commenting on who stands out among both iconic player, the former AC Milan star went for the Argentine.
“I played with Cristiano and he’s really amazing, but I’ll go with Messi,” Kaka was quoted on Goal.
“He’s a genius, a pure talent. The way he plays is incredible.” A few days ago legendary Brazilian forward Pele rated Ronaldo a better player to his Argentine rival.
Messi edges Ronaldo in the FIFA Best award as he landed his sixth title to the Portuguese’s five.
He is known for his goal scoring records and his ability to dribble the ball past opponents. As of 2020, Lionel Messi’s net worth is $400 million, making him one of the richest soccer players in the world.
But the Juventus star has won more Champions League titles with five (one with Manchester United and four with Madrid) to his name while Messi has four.
And Messi has suffered heartbreaks at senior international football, losing the finals of the FIFA World Cup (2014) and the Copa America (2015, 2016).
But Ronaldo has achieved success with Portugal, winning the 2016 European Championship and the UEFA Nations League in 2019.
He’s currently playing for the Italian team, Juventus, and the Portugal national team. As of 2020, CristianoRonaldo’s net worth is roughly $460 million, making him one of the richest athletes in the world.
