Officials results of the governorship election have started coming in from collation Centers in the 21 Local Government Areas of Kogi State.

20 political parties presented candidates for the election. However, the result is already going the way of the All Progressives Congress, APC, candidate, Yahya Bello as Musa Wada of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP lags in the results announced so far by Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
