Liberia’s President-elect, George Weah, is expected to visit Prophet T. B. Joshua’s Synagogue Church of All Nations, SCOAN, for Thanksgiving following his victory at the polls.

It would be recalled that Weah, 51, was at one of the SCOAN church services alongside former Liberian warlord and currently Liberian Senator, Prince Yormie Johnson, in October, last year to seek spiritual help and guidance ahead of the presidential polls.

During the October visit to the Church, Prophet Joshua, had announced to the congregation that Weah was God’s choice for the people of Liberia.

“My brother is here today because he loves his country. He is not here to impose himself. What does God say about his country, Liberia? What is God’s opinion? That is why he is here.

“We are not herbalists or witch doctors, we are people of God. God’s choice is our choice. We cannot pray against God’s will,” Prophet Joshua had said concerning the outcome of the Liberian polls.

Reports also say that after the service, the former World Footballer of the Year also had a special session with Prophet Joshua who assured him of victory in the November 7 rescheduled run-off election.
