Vice President Kashim Shettima has departed New York for Frankfurt, Germany, immediately after his representation at the 80th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA 80).
This was contained in a press statement issued on Sunday by his media aide, Stanley Nkwocha
Nkwocha disclosed that the Vice President is now headed to Germany where he is scheduled to hold strategic meetings with officials of Deutsche Bank to explore areas of intervention and partnership in Nigeria’s developmental initiatives.
The New Diplomat reports that this comes after Shettima’s UNGA 80 engagements, held from September 22 to 28 in New York.
Acting on behalf of President Bola Tinubu, the Vice President delivered Nigeria’s national statement on September 24, passionately reiterating the nation’s longstanding demand for a permanent seat on the UN Security Council.
