Former Ogun State Governor and current Senator representing Ogun East Senatorial district of Ogun State, Gbenga Daniel, has finally spoken out regarding reports on social media about his alleged suspension by the Ogun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The senator, through his media aide Steve Oliyide, clarified that he has not been officially notified of the suspension or the allegations of anti-party activities leveled against him.

The New Diplomat reports that this comes after the Ogun APC announced on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, that Otunba Daniel, alongside his loyalist Hon. Kunle Folarin, has been indefinitely suspended for alleged anti-party conduct.
