Masobe Books, a renowned publisher has announced the upcoming publication of a book titled “BENEATH THE SURFACE: Essays on Nigeria’s Chequered Journey”, written by Dakuku Peterside, an ace syndicated columnist, author, public policy expert, and turnaround management specialist.
The book slated for release in October 2025, will be available in Nigeria and the international arena with public presentations planned in Lagos and Abuja.
The New Diplomat reports that the book details a profound exploration of Nigeria’s multifaceted history, socio-political challenges, and aspirations for the future.
Drawing on his extensive expertise, Peterside, in the book delivered incisive commentary on the nation’s triumphs, struggles, and untapped potential.
Also, Beneath the Surface has been critically appraised by many prominent individuals.
Professor Patrick Loch Otieno Lumumba, a Kenyan lawyer and activist, while appraising the upcoming book said: “A manual that every conscientious person in authority should read.”
