A notable leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta State and Nigeria’s former Ambassador to Thailand, Ambassador Oma Djebah has extended heartfelt congratulations to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for their exemplary leadership as they mark two years in office.

Djebah, a two-time Delta State Honourable Commissioner for Information and a frontline diplomat-journalist praised Tinubu and Oborevwori for their commitment to transformative governance, describing their tenure as a beacon of progress for Nigeria and Delta State.

In a press statement he signed, Djebah highlighted Tinubu’s economic reforms and strategic policies aimed at strengthening Nigeria’s global standing.

He commended Tinubu’s focus on infrastructure development, economic diversification, and security enhancements, adding that the reforms have begun to yield tangible results.

According to Djebah, the two years of the administration of Tinubu at the federal government level and Oborevwori at the Delta State level have been significant in various ways including recording impactful accomplishments and milestones in critical aspects of development including focused leadership, deepened economic reforms, agricultural expansion, access to education and healthcare, renewed commitment to overall national growth as well as accelerated state infrastructural transformation.

Djebah, while referencing the Financial Times(FT) of London, whose recent editorial commended President Tinubu’s bold and courageous economic policies for putting “ Nigeria in better shape than at any time in the past decade’’ where “ investors do not live in constant fear of a devaluation and can readily access dollars’’ further applauded the Tinubu’s administration anchored on its Renewed Hope Agenda for putting in place inclusive development, investment in Students education(Students Loan), healthcare, job creation, agricultural expansion, critical sectoral infrastructure, and template for regional development as evidenced in the various Regional Development Commissions.

Djebah stated: “As the administration clocks two years, I wish to applaud the performance of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, who has shown exceptional courage, determination, and impactful strides in infrastructure development as well as in leadership.”

In the statement, Djebah also praised the president and the governor of Delta State for their consistent leadership and significant achievements over the past two years.

He noted that the combination of the Renewed Hope and M.O.R.E. Agenda has fostered sustainable growth and transformation.

Djebah pointed out that the Renewed Hope Agenda of Tinubu has initiated sustainable economic reforms which resulted in economic investment, huge critical infrastructure, enhanced revenue generation, agricultural programs, improved access to education, and critical infrastructure, amongst others, describing these milestones as a “ foundation for a more stable and prosperous Nigeria.”

In the same vein, the frontline diplomat-journalist and a leading figure in the APC in Delta State also commended Governor Oborevwori’s implementation of the M.O.R.E. Agenda in Delta State, which, according to him, has resulted in “visible development in road infrastructure, improved access to education, and youth empowerment programs’’.

“As they mark this important milestone, I wish them continued wisdom and strength to steer the affairs of our dear nation and our state, respectively. May this anniversary be a fruitful celebration and a renewed commitment to the overall aspirations of the people,” the diplomat added.

The second anniversary of both leaders falls on May 29, 2025, a date that marks Democracy Day and the commencement of their respective tenures in office following the 2023 general elections.
